Business Context
Healthcare scheduling is a mission-critical workflow. When the experience is confusing or slow, the costs show up immediately: missed shifts, burnout, compliance risk, and operational inefficiency. When I joined, core navigation and authentication flows were degraded (including a broken login/menu experience), and different hospital teams were using productivity and reporting features inconsistently. The opportunity was to modernize the UX, reduce friction in daily tasks, and create a cohesive, scalable system across mobile and desktop.
Strategic Solutions
  • Delivered Admin Dashboard, onboarding, and first-time user (FTU) flows with cross-platform functionality and accessibility improvements.
  • Standardized interaction patterns and information architecture to reduce ambiguity across high-frequency scheduling workflows.
  • Built enablement assets (LMS + media-rich training) to support adoption and reduce support burden.
Leadership & Contributions
  • Owned UX execution across key product surfaces spanning desktop admin and mobile nurse experiences.
  • Produced an internal Learning Management System (LMS) and interactive training content to accelerate rollout and consistency.
  • Promoted to lead design; contributed to an industry-awarded product with 97% customer retention and a $32M acquisition by HealthStream (HSTM).
